June Ride Of The Month Winner |
|
Congratulations to Corrine (corny115) for winning this months Ride of the Month in her 2003 GT!
From Corinne:
"Thanks for voting me the winner of June's Ride of the Month!
I had always wanted a mustang from the time I got a driver's license and finally got one when I was in college. I bought this car brand new in 2003, drove it off the lot with only 6 miles on it and didn't even know how to drive a stick shift! Made for an interesting drive home with a friend trying to teach me on the way. Since then it has gotten a few modifications and is better know as the "fobra". The car has a cobra hood, bumpers, and wheels. It is lowered, has 3.73 gears and the exhaust was changed out. The most recent modification is the Vortech supercharger I just had installed by Justin's Performance. Now it really is a fobra!
Thanks again for voting for me & see you all at the weekly cruise nights and car shows!
-Corinne"

Bay Side Mustangs Participates in Wounded Warrior Patriot Guard Escort Cruise |
|
May 15. 2010
Members of Bay Side Mustangs had a unique opportunity to participate in a Patriot Guard Escort Cruise for some wounded warriors from Walter Reed Army Medical Center from the western side of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to KentMorr Marina in Stevensville on Kent Island. Along with a couple of members from the Kent Island Cruisers, we filled the 10 spots available to vehicles. The warriors got a chance to leave the hospital behind for awhile by going on a charter fishing trip and we were there to help escort them over.
This was a chance for all of us to show our support and appreciation to some of our brave combat wounded who are recovering from their experiences.
